Merry Christmas!

With the help of our good friend and photo shop, we were able to pull off a pretty nice picture. Although the color does look off in this pic.

Oops! This and this picture will not be going on our Christmas card.

Happy Halloween

This picture is for Martha Stewart. If anyone has any personal connections with her, let me know. I would love to show her she isn't the only one who can make a pretty cool cupcake.

So this is our fairy tale story of the frog prince, the princess, and... the headless horseman???

Bob Evans Festival

Every year we go down to the Bob Evans Farm Festival. This year was raining so we decided not to freeze in our tent and instead come down the morning of. Tyler and I did not do so well at the egg toss or cow chip tossing contests, (I should mention both times were my fault due to my lack of uncordinated skills). Actually it wasn't completely my fault. Tyler almost broke my finger in attempts to practice tossing eggs, but with a rock.
I am so proud of Nate and Trinette who won two competitions! Way to go guys.

Hello D.C.

I love this country.
I wish I could personally thank all those men who have fought for our freedom.

I love these boys.
Camping in D.C. Did you ever know you can camp here? It was great... if you don't mind spiders. But I would not recommend the East side of town!!! You might get shot.

I love D.C. We had a blast camping and touring the city.
It was hot, and I felt bad for wrapping Ashton in a blanket, but what do you when your child wets all of his clothes? You can't have him naked for the pic!

What fun in the park

So remember back in the day when digital did not exist? Or we were just to poor to purchase a camera yet, well sadly to say, but I can't get any of our early newly wed pics online b/c they are all on film. Bummer! I guess I'll just have to put up new pics and of course ones that include our newest addition to our family.
Happy Anniversary darling.

Happy Independence Day

Ashton wants to be a fighter pilot when he grows up. Hey that's what I want to be too.
Sunni And Ashton are such sleepers, but I guess that's the reason they are both so darn cute! Ashton slept the whole night.
Happy Camping!

Hocking Hills

We ventured out to Hocking Hills last Saturday with some friends and had an awesome time hiking and repelling. Ashton really enjoyed the hike, maybe next year we'll get him climbing. I wish I took more pics of the scenery; it was beautiful. It looked like a little piece of Utah in the middle of Ohio. It took me a minute to build up the nerves to jump off a 100ft. cliff and pray I would make it to the ground...softly. We are still alive and very happy:)

Time out for Women

Sherrida, Kacey, Hillary Weeks, and me.
Ashton was a little pooped.

We enjoyed a wonderful time at 'Time Out for Women' in Cincinnati. I was so glad I got to go. We heard some beautiful music and wonderful talks. I think I heard more talking from Ashton than any of the speakers, but I had a wonderful time.

I thought the architecture on this church was beautiful.
And on the top you can see gargoyles.

Tubby Time

Surprisingly, Ashton loves his tubby time. It took Tyler and I a few times to learn how to give him a good bath. Poor kid must have been freezing the first few times. Thank goodness he won't remember being a newborn! Thanks Ashton for being a good sport.

Mommy and son

We are now home, with our new little one. Wow, does he take up ALL our time. I haven't had a minute to sit down and post pics. We came home Sunday afternoon and have enjoyed every minute of it. If any of you experienced mothers have any advice on how to sleep during the night... please let me know. I thought I was a night owl, but I was wrongly mistaken. Ashton is way more of a night person than Tyler and I are.

OUR NEW FAMILY

So here is the newest addition to the May and Wolfe family. Weighing in at 8lb 11oz. and a lengthy 21 inches. Ashton Tyler May. He is as healthy as a sleeping ox, and cries like a lost puppy dog at a new home. Mom did great, the labor for me (tyler) was easy after I learned to count faster during sunni's pushes. Apparently a slow counter can make people upset. We were induced friday morning, and around 12:00 p.m. she got the epidural and in no time ashton came out but not without a fight.
Currently ashton is snoozing but says hi to the world!

Already then!!!

So today I was supposed to have a baby, but...nothing. Sorry for the bad news. I go in on Thursday at 7:00pm to be induced. So Ashton should be here on Friday. Hopefully the labor will go quickly and pain free :) It will be perfect timing for us, b/c Tyler will be all done with finals. Good luck to all of you in school, and suffering through these last tests. I promised some that I would post a pic of my last days being pregnant. So here they are. This was taken on Sunday at the park. Tyler and I thought we would enjoy the beautiful weather and have a little bbq and spend some quality time together, just the two of us. We won't be getting many more of those after Friday. But it will be great. I cannot wait to be a mother and to hold my little babe.

Night in the hospital

Last night was spent in the hospital, and you'd think I was there to have the baby right? Well, luckily Ashton was not born a month early, and especially in this circumstance. Tyler and I were in a car accident last night. (You can ask him the details). I knew I was alright, my chest and ribs hurt from the impact from slamming against my seat belt, and do have skinned up knees, but I wasn't sure how my baby was. After the accident I placed my hands on my stomach, and was reassured that my child was still kicking, so I knew that nothing was terribly wrong, but I still wanted to know that he was in fact fine. So we went to the hospital, and they admitted us over night to monitor everything. It was not the most pleasant night. We tried making the most of our situation by pretending we were at some nice hotel, but I must say I did not feel the least most attractive hooked up to all my I.V.'s and in my lovely hospital gown. They make those robes so attractive, especially with your backside completely exposed.

Tyler got accustomed to sleeping overnight at the hospital on his hide-a-bed, so now we can be ready for when the baby does come. At 6:00 this morning the new nurse said I would be staying all day because they usually like to monitor you for 24 hours, but then 2 hours later they let us go. I was so happy to be out of their... safely.

So everyone, please be safe and drive carefully!

Baby Ready

We have finally finished the nursery and are ready any day for Ashton to arrive. I want to personally thank Kacey Bassett who made me the cutest curtains. They really add the final touch to the room. They are adorable. The pic of the car seat and stroller is for my sis-in-law, Jess and my amazing mother-in-law, Carrie. I can't wait to go on walks riding in style! The rocker chair is for my dear mother who gave this to me for Christmas. I've always wanted a rocker for the nursery. Thank you Mom! The crib was built by my darling husband. I still can't believe that he made it himself. He's thinking about going into the crib-making business, instead of dentistry. So anyone who's looking for a crib... let him know. And the cute animals on the wall are from Tyler as well. Don't they look awesome!

Snowed In

I was so happy when I found out that Tyler would be staying home because of the ice storm. So he spent the day shoveling ice off the sidewalks and driveway. What a tough guy he is.

No Tyler, your not supposed to eat the ice!

Wild Lights at the Columbus Zoo

Tyler and I enjoyed going to the zoo to see all the animals and lights. The lights were syncronized to the music playing by the pond. We met up with the Rencher's and Musson's. I was very impressed with Mark's fancy ice skating. I think I'll wait to do that after I get rid of this belly.

Thank you Sjostroms for the hot chocolate. Without it, I could have died because it was so cold. I think Danon felt the same way. This is Tyler's nephew, Tristan on Thankgiving day. Cutest little guy.

Christmas in Utah

This is my darling little niece Summer and nephew Ethan. We made a pretty sweet jump on our sledding hill in the back yard.
Here we are at temple square with Tyler's family. We enjoyed the gorgeous lights around the temple, even with frozen toes and noses.

Here's Tyler's turn to show off his cool toys. That's Tyler's dad on the Grizzly. It's pretty crazy what that thing can climb.

Christmas in Utah

We had a blast snowmobiling up American Fork Canyon. I tried to take it easy, being prego, but still somehow managed to almost tip the machine over. Thank goodness for my mighty strong dad and husband, in attempts to getting my sled out, got stuck themelves 3 times.

What a fun time we had this Christmas. Tyler and I spent Christmas with both our families. They only live 45 minutes away from each other, so that made it nice to be able to spend so much time with both sides. My cousin Lindsey is having a boy just a month after me so our parents threw us a double baby shower. My dear cousin Chelsi made me the cutest cake but was unable to come down for the shower due to the crazy snow storm we had on Christmas day. So this pic is for you Chelsi. Thank you!!!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!! So this is a little late, but I thought the pictures were funny. Tyler wanted to be a rock star, so this is my best attempt to find him an 80's cotume at the thrift store. He looks more like the guy on Wayne's World. I don't know what I am, but thought the wig was cool.

It looks like these boys are a little too comfortable with each other. Yikes?!

Ohio State vs Michigan

Here we are at the coldest game of the year. Now why did we not sell these tickets? I could have done so much with the money. But in all, it was worth it... every minute. It was an awesome experience. After slattering Michigan in a 49:7 scoring game, we ran down onto the field cheering. Yes, that sexy girl is not bat girl, it's me, kissing the field. You're not a true OSU fan until you kiss the end zone. Don't ask me why I had them paint a batman mask on me. I thought it was cool at the time.

It's a boy!!! Here is baby Ashton Tyler May flexing his muscles. He's already got my big head. I think I have the cutest baby in the world. What a miracle it is that we can bring these perfect children from heaven into the world.

Cozumel

Sunni and Tyler at the Mayan ruins in Belize. No, I'm not just gaining weight, that bump is our little miracle child at 14 weeks. Yay!
