This is our new house in Texas and the best thing about it is we get to live next to our great friends Josh and Karlie Dean. I don't know what we'd do without them. It has been so much fun being next door. The 2nd best thing about it is my new van! Mom says I'm officially an adult now. My baby girl is now starting to crawl. Help!!!

Just 15 minutes away from us is the Palo Duro Canyon. They say it is the 2nd largest canyon in the U.S. We love going down their for hikes, and eventually we will go mtn. biking as soon as I find a babysitter who is willing to tolerate my two fighters.

This is Ashton's best friend Clay. The two are exactly the same. They love to run around together, scream, and even fight.

We are so happy here, we miss our family, friends in Ohio, and grass like crazy, but I think we are getting more used to this little old town.

One month of bliss

Before Tyler starts work as an official dentist and we move to Texas, we got to play with family for 3 weeks. It's amazing how the time flies so fast when your with family. I wish I got to see all my friends in Utah, and show off my cute babes, but I let the time slip away from me. Thank you to my family for such a wonderful time. It was so hard leaving and moving to a completely strange place, but we will see you soon enough.

We have had the most amazing Christmas season. This year we were blessed with the most beautiful present, our little Madelyn. I love this little girl.Mama Tia came to visit and help out when Madelyn was born.

We had such a fun Thanksgiving with Matt and Nicole. The food was delicious and the company was fantastic. Thank you guys!

Water show at the zoo

Miss Madelyn May came as a little bit of a surprise.

It began Monday night. We had just enjoyed a good dinner at Max and Ermas's with my mom who flew in just an hour before. It was a gorgeous night and I was feeling great so we decided to check out the lights at the zoo.

We walked around forever, and just as we were leaving I had a sudden unexpected gush in my pants, and no it was not pee. It was quite embarrassing as it did not stop. So I tied my coat around my waist, which was just drawing more attention to me as you could still see water flowing down to my shoes.

So we drove home, so I could shower, said my goodbyes to Ashton and my mom and headed off to the hospital. Just as soon as we got in the car my contractions started getting really hard and they were not stopping. When we got to the hospital I was wanting to scream.

2 hours later and little Madelyn was born.

We had so much fun at the Hayslips' Halloween party. Ya, Laura is not pregnant. Though she does make a pretty cute prego for Halloween. Tyler went as a flower, while I was his honeybee.

Short busses and Bob Evans

Our friends Matt and Nicole Cragun, and we can't forget that baby bump. I think the baby liked the crazy loud hollering at the short bus race...as did I. The elephant ears on the other hand-- could have, or should have passed on those.

Look at that bus-- it is tipped over on its side! It was crazy watching these buses race around a figure 8 and crash into each other.So I'm sad to say this might be our last year for the Bob Evans Festival, unless we get a job in Ohio. All 4 years we have been coming out and making fools of ourselves at the competitions and camping out, mud or shine. My favorite this year was the pie eating contest. Ya I don't think I touched that pie, I was laughing to hard, but it was sure fun to watch everyone else gorge themselves.

Well we got ourselves a nickel. Maybe next time Ashton will understand the game a little better, that your supposed to pick up the money, not the sawdust.

If you ever got to Chicago, you have to visit the Shedd Aquarium. I found the cutest penguin there.

The aquarium was incredible. I have never seen an octopus like this before.

This is one of the actual U-505, the only German submarine in the United States.

Anyone a fan of Transformers? This is the junk yard where they are throwing away parts of the set for Transformers III.

These 3 boys raised $500 each and rode 102 grueling miles. There were over 4 thousand riders who raised over $8 million altogether. 100% of that money went to cancer research.

We celebrated the night before eating, listening to inspirational speakers and jamming out to Counting Crows, Augustana, and Notar. It was pretty cool.

So in one more week I will be 19 weeks along and will find out if we are having a boy or girl. I am so anxious to know. I'm sorry for not telling everyone sooner, but I had to keep it a secret until I went to Utah... for my families sake. It was so fun surprising everyone.

This was the best idea, we had Ashton push around our luggage for us. A little hard to maneuver corners, but made my job a lot easier.

The food was good, display was great, but we were still starving. So we found a little French crepe place. Yumm! To die for!

In one more year this is going to be my new home... Colorado... hopefully. We have no idea where in Colorado, but at least we have narrowed down a state.

This is my cousin Lindsey's little beautiful boy, Asher. He is the cutest little kid, ya and we totally did not plan the matching swimming suits... pretty funny though!

I am sad I didn't get a better picture of us jeeping, but I didn't want to forget the memory. I love my insane dad. I love climbing over those huge boulders, and feeling like we are about to tip over, (so maybe we were not that close to tipping over, but it sure feels like it sometimes... it has happened before).

After the air show we set up camp with a bunch of friends, had the best dutch oven cobbler and stayed up way to late while the boys set up a trap for raccoons. We never did catch any :( The next day we played all day at the beach. So much fun! The water was warm, the beach was beautiful, but most of all the company was awesome.We had the best time in Utah. I'm sure our parents are a little relieved of us to go because we kept them busy. Thanks everyone for such a memorable time. It is always so hard for us to say good bye. I love you all.

First seaweed wrap...together

You probably thought from the title that I would be getting this done with my significant other. Well, you were wrong. This is Ashton getting his first, and last, spa treatment.

My wonderful Dad gave me a gift card for a seaweed body wrap at a really nice spa. It was going to be wonderful. I spent that morning shopping with my littlest sister. We had lunch and then headed to my hour of peace. Or so I thought... During the wrap, I could hear Ashton just screaming. After 1/2 hour, the massage therapist could tell I was a little uneasy about the situation and asked if I would like to bring Ashton in. He saw me, started screaming and holding his arms out for me. My arms were tied down and could not hold him, so I had him lay on top of me. Doesn't he look so sweet.

So it may not have been the most relaxing treatment, but I do believe it was the sweetest, and most special one I have ever had.

Santa decided it would be best to come a couple weeks early to our house. I told I totally understood. He would be very busy this year. Isn't Tyler such a stud in his studly bikers suit?

Here we are at the Nutcracker with Peter and Sherrida. They did not let us take any pictures inside the theater, so this was the best we could do. It was spectacular. The room was gorgeous, and the ballet was done so well. It made me want to dance, but then I have to come back to reality and remember, no I probably should not dance with my two left feet.

We had a blast with our friends at our tacky Christmas sweater party. No, I did not win, but I still think I should have. Those shoulder pads were awesome. Unfortunately, Ashton did not like the idea of swinging a bat at the flying tooth pinata. There is always next year!

Bob Evans Festival

Every year we go down to the Bob Evans Farm Festival. This year was raining so we decided not to freeze in our tent and instead come down the morning of. Tyler and I did not do so well at the egg toss or cow chip tossing contests, (I should mention both times were my fault due to my lack of uncordinated skills). Actually it wasn't completely my fault. Tyler almost broke my finger in attempts to practice tossing eggs, but with a rock.

I am so proud of Nate and Trinette who won two competitions! Way to go guys.

We ventured out to Hocking Hills last Saturday with some friends and had an awesome time hiking and repelling. Ashton really enjoyed the hike, maybe next year we'll get him climbing. I wish I took more pics of the scenery; it was beautiful. It looked like a little piece of Utah in the middle of Ohio. It took me a minute to build up the nerves to jump off a 100ft. cliff and pray I would make it to the ground...softly. We are still alive and very happy:)

We are now home, with our new little one. Wow, does he take up ALL our time. I haven't had a minute to sit down and post pics. We came home Sunday afternoon and have enjoyed every minute of it. If any of you experienced mothers have any advice on how to sleep during the night... please let me know. I thought I was a night owl, but I was wrongly mistaken. Ashton is way more of a night person than Tyler and I are.

So here is the newest addition to the May and Wolfe family. Weighing in at 8lb 11oz. and a lengthy 21 inches. Ashton Tyler May. He is as healthy as a sleeping ox, and cries like a lost puppy dog at a new home. Mom did great, the labor for me (tyler) was easy after I learned to count faster during sunni's pushes. Apparently a slow counter can make people upset. We were induced friday morning, and around 12:00 p.m. she got the epidural and in no time ashton came out but not without a fight.
Currently ashton is snoozing but says hi to the world!

So today I was supposed to have a baby, but...nothing. Sorry for the bad news. I go in on Thursday at 7:00pm to be induced. So Ashton should be here on Friday. Hopefully the labor will go quickly and pain free :) It will be perfect timing for us, b/c Tyler will be all done with finals. Good luck to all of you in school, and suffering through these last tests. I promised some that I would post a pic of my last days being pregnant. So here they are. This was taken on Sunday at the park. Tyler and I thought we would enjoy the beautiful weather and have a little bbq and spend some quality time together, just the two of us. We won't be getting many more of those after Friday. But it will be great. I cannot wait to be a mother and to hold my little babe.

Night in the hospital

Last night was spent in the hospital, and you'd think I was there to have the baby right? Well, luckily Ashton was not born a month early, and especially in this circumstance. Tyler and I were in a car accident last night. (You can ask him the details). I knew I was alright, my chest and ribs hurt from the impact from slamming against my seat belt, and do have skinned up knees, but I wasn't sure how my baby was. After the accident I placed my hands on my stomach, and was reassured that my child was still kicking, so I knew that nothing was terribly wrong, but I still wanted to know that he was in fact fine. So we went to the hospital, and they admitted us over night to monitor everything. It was not the most pleasant night. We tried making the most of our situation by pretending we were at some nice hotel, but I must say I did not feel the least most attractive hooked up to all my I.V.'s and in my lovely hospital gown. They make those robes so attractive, especially with your backside completely exposed.

Tyler got accustomed to sleeping overnight at the hospital on his hide-a-bed, so now we can be ready for when the baby does come. At 6:00 this morning the new nurse said I would be staying all day because they usually like to monitor you for 24 hours, but then 2 hours later they let us go. I was so happy to be out of their... safely.

So everyone, please be safe and drive carefully!

We have finally finished the nursery and are ready any day for Ashton to arrive. I want to personally thank Kacey Bassett who made me the cutest curtains. They really add the final touch to the room. They are adorable. The pic of the car seat and stroller is for my sis-in-law, Jess and my amazing mother-in-law, Carrie. I can't wait to go on walks riding in style! The rocker chair is for my dear mother who gave this to me for Christmas. I've always wanted a rocker for the nursery. Thank you Mom! The crib was built by my darling husband. I still can't believe that he made it himself. He's thinking about going into the crib-making business, instead of dentistry. So anyone who's looking for a crib... let him know. And the cute animals on the wall are from Tyler as well. Don't they look awesome!

Wild Lights at the Columbus Zoo

Tyler and I enjoyed going to the zoo to see all the animals and lights. The lights were syncronized to the music playing by the pond. We met up with the Rencher's and Musson's. I was very impressed with Mark's fancy ice skating. I think I'll wait to do that after I get rid of this belly.

Thank you Sjostroms for the hot chocolate. Without it, I could have died because it was so cold. I think Danon felt the same way. This is Tyler's nephew, Tristan on Thankgiving day. Cutest little guy.

Christmas in Utah

Christmas in Utah

We had a blast snowmobiling up American Fork Canyon. I tried to take it easy, being prego, but still somehow managed to almost tip the machine over. Thank goodness for my mighty strong dad and husband, in attempts to getting my sled out, got stuck themelves 3 times.

What a fun time we had this Christmas. Tyler and I spent Christmas with both our families. They only live 45 minutes away from each other, so that made it nice to be able to spend so much time with both sides. My cousin Lindsey is having a boy just a month after me so our parents threw us a double baby shower. My dear cousin Chelsi made me the cutest cake but was unable to come down for the shower due to the crazy snow storm we had on Christmas day. So this pic is for you Chelsi. Thank you!!!

Here we are at the coldest game of the year. Now why did we not sell these tickets? I could have done so much with the money. But in all, it was worth it... every minute. It was an awesome experience. After slattering Michigan in a 49:7 scoring game, we ran down onto the field cheering. Yes, that sexy girl is not bat girl, it's me, kissing the field. You're not a true OSU fan until you kiss the end zone. Don't ask me why I had them paint a batman mask on me. I thought it was cool at the time.
